Working on the rose plot in Colleferro changed the way I think about everyday habits. One of the most interesting activities for me wasn’t even in the garden - it was the seminar on bad habits.
We talked about how personal choices affect not only our health, but also the environment. After that, the training on separate waste collection suddenly made much more sense. It wasn’t just rules - it was about respect.
Back in the rose garden, we started shaping the bushes, watering them regularly, and keeping the area clean. Over time, it felt like the space became part of our routine. Some of us even started using the nearby park sports facilities after working on the plot - I didn’t expect that, but it really helped my mood and energy.
The best part? Seeing our flowers used for church celebrations, decorations, and charity activities. It feels good knowing that something you helped grow can make other people happy.
